20 Questions for Miss Howard TV
What’s your hometown & where do you live now?
I was born & raised in Queens, NY and am currently residing in Tampa, FL., where I've been for the past 3 years.
How did you get into modeling?
While shooting the cover of an instructional belly dance DVD I was in, the photographer suggested that I sign up to an online portfolio website. A week after posting my photos I was contacted by several photographers who helped me build my book and get me to where I am today.
How do you feel about posing naked when you model?
I have no problem with nudity in the right context & enjoy not having to worry about the positioning of my body to show the details of clothing – It's easier!
We hear you’re a budding fashion designer, what do you design?
I design & make custom football handbags. They're made to look exactly like an actual football (many people think I'm carrying around a real football at first glance) and are customizable with names, numbers & rhinestones. They are what I'm most proud of – Check 'em out at http://www.GirlieFan.com !
How did you become the NY Giants girl?
I've always been a Giants fan, but 4 years ago I had taken a few photos in my Giants gear and put them up on myspace. The response was so big, with people requesting more photos that I decided to add photos of me in Giants gear to my fan site, http://www.NYGiantsGirl.com . Once I did that, traffic to the fan site increased and I began to get recognized at the stadiums. From there, I've gotten offers for television appearances & cameos, newspapers, magazines & appearances at sporting events. I've been blessed to be so involved in something that I'm truly passionate about. So now all of my free time goes to following the Giants, whether it's flying to a game, tailgating, attending an event, etc.
As a hot chick is it difficult being taken seriously as a football fan?
It most definitely is. People expect me to know MORE than male fans, being a “hot chick”, and I constantly have to remind people that I am NOT a historian...I'm just a fan.
What’s the strangest thing that ever happened to you in the stands at a game?
At a pre-season game a few years ago, a guy (not wearing any jersey at all) came up to me and started chewing my ear off while I was trying to watch the game. He was so offended that I wasn't paying him any mind that he yelled at me, screaming I'd “never find a guy” and stormed off - weirdo. I've also had a drunk woman who said she saw me on TV request a mouth kiss.
Would you ever date a guy who didn’t like the Giants?
I always knew in the back of my mind that a relationship could never work unless he/she was a Giants fan, although I did attempt to date a non-football fan. The date was actually shown on MTV in the documentary “TRUE LIFE: I'm a Sports Fanatic”, and needless to say, it didn't go very well. Never again ! I'm definitely sticking to Giants fans ONLY from now on and saving myself the headache.
When you’re in the stands in your little outfit do the guys hit on you all the time?
I believe men would hit on me way more if I weren't in the Super Girl outfit – The whole “Super Girl” thing is a bit intimidating and less sexy than it is goofy and extreme. Guys do hit on me, but thankfully the costume wards off the majority.
What’s the best way for a guy to pick up a hot chick like you?
The way to my heart is through chivalry and by paying attention. I hate repeating myself and being treated with respect is very important. Being that I'm attracted to both men and women, I like my man to be a “guy's guy” and my woman to be girlie and feminine. I want a man who can open doors, kill bugs, fix cars, etc. I don't want a guy with a skinny model body or a body builder type, I prefer meat on the bones and I'll even go as far as to say that I like “fat guys”. Typically, this kind of man also knows how to take control, which I think is incredibly sexy. Maybe it's the traditionalist in me, but I prefer to be submissive.
So since you like women tell us about your lesbian experiences?
My life is one big lesbian experience! I knew from a young age that I was attracted to women and began experimenting with it before high school. Being a real “relationship” type person - even with women - I didn't have my first full sexual experience with a woman until I was in my first long-term relationship, which I am still in today. Luckily my partner was very patient and guided me through everything I was nervous about.
Does you’re girlfriend object to your love of the Giants?
I have the best girlfriend in the world – She knows not to call me during a game, she roots for my team (even though I'm sure she doesn't really care), she celebrates with me after a win and cheers me up after a loss. Plus, she looks really cute in a jersey…best ever.
Is it harder to be in a relationship with men or women?
It's definitely harder to be in a relationship with a man. There are certain “unspoken” rules that men either just don't know about or play dumb about that go without saying for women. It also seems that men have less self control, which makes them more prone to cheating and acting like immature children. I can't tell you how many times my last boyfriend would lash out, saying the most horrible things, only to apologize later on saying, “Oh, I didn't mean it, I was mad. Blah blah blah...” Women know better. Women are also more emotionally driven and know the pain that being cheated on brings so we are more compassionate and less likely to bang anything with legs and a pulse. There are exceptions with each, I'm sure, but I'm speaking from experience.
What’s your idea of a perfect date?
Of course it depends on who I'm with, but I love amusement parks. An active date is usually foolproof. I also love Broadway musicals, but I'd have to find the right person for that. Football games are a definite NO for dates, though – I need to be alone and in the zone.
Where is the strangest place you’ve ever had sex?
A church sacristy. Growing up as a Catholic school girl, my boyfriend and I were both altar servers in our church. Since we were both young and didn't have a place of our own where we could get frisky, we had to constantly get creative with where we could get away with making love. Since we knew the mass schedules and when people would/wouldn't be in the sacristy, we went at it in there a few times.
What’s the hardest part about being a hot chick?
Sometimes it's hard to get a lot of one kind of attention when you're craving another kind. For example, when I'm really lonely and dying to really talk to someone or just hang out but all I'm getting are guys coming up to me with, 'Hey baby, let's go make out”.
What kind of girl were you growing up?
I was the brooding artist type. Growing up I dedicated 4 hours a day to classical piano so there was not much time for any other recreational activity and it was hard to find and connect with other kids my age that had the same passion & discipline.
What's your best physical feature?
I'm not very happy with my body but since I have to say something, I'd say the lower half of my body is pretty nice. Technically my waist-to-hip ratio is perfect.
Have you ever wanted to get breast implants?
When I was little I expected to have big boobs like everyone else in my family and when it never happened, I was very disappointed. I figured I would just get implants when I got older, but procrastinated a few years too many. Now I think it'd be a waste to get breast implants, since in a few years they won't be an issue in my career because I will no longer be modeling. If I were to get them, I should have gotten them at 18 but now I'm too old and it wouldn't be worth the investment or stress on my body.
Where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Well my dream job would be in sports broadcasting. Who wouldn't want to make a living doing something they're actually interested in but I'm also dying to start a family and feel like that is what I was put on this earth to do. Hopefully in 20 years I will be married and living with my husband & children in our own house.
Miss Howard TV Bio
Miss Howard TV December 2009 Reby Sky – BLOGHey guys! I'm Reby Sky & I'm YOUR Miss Howard TV December 2009! Earning the title of Miss Howard TV happened completely by chance and has been one of the most fun experiences of my life! I got the opportunity to come in & meet Mike Gange & Doug Goodstein, the fabulous producers of the show. Unfortunately, I didn't have a bikini with me, so I went through with my audition in my bra & panties, though that didn't seem to be too much of a problem. I must have done something right because they told me I was the next Miss Howard TV! Completely shocked & ridiculously happy about it, I pretty much frolicked home afterwards.
The next step in the process was baring my soul to Mike Gange over the phone for a pre-interview. I'm not sure if it felt more like a therapy session or a late night phone chat line, but we got into some pretty deep & spicy details about ALL aspects of my life; My home life (and sex), my hobbies (and sex), my past relationships (and sex), and oh yeah...sex. At first I was a little hesitant to be so candid with a virtual stranger, but I figured, "Hey. It's the Howard Stern Show - If you're going to do it, go all the way"! So a few days later, there I was: bikini clad & camera ready at 7AM in front of Howard, Robin, Artie & co., as nervous as I've ever been, ready to let it all hang out, Figuratively!
The on-air interview began with a bang as Howard introduced me as a "lesbo", which I will accept as somewhat accurate. In fact, my appearance on the show was somewhat of a "coming out", as only very close friends were aware of my sexuality (I am bisexual and have been in a committed relationship with one woman for 2 years). Artie kept trying to stand & sneak a peak at me & wouldn't sit down until ordered to do so & Robin complimented me on my stomach. Then, after getting into all the juicy details of my love life, Howard moved on to a spontaneous football quiz against Artie...SURPRISE! Needless to say, nervously standing half naked after baring the details of my sex life in front of Howard Stern and millions of listeners at 7AM had me ill prepared to be a football historian, but hey, I gave it a shot! I was so shook up that I misheard Howard say "sack record" for "rushing record" & COMPLETELY flubbed a question, leaving me red faced & super embarrassed. Everyone got a laugh out of it at my expense and the silly mistake was fine by me, as long as it put a smile on someone's face :) But let me tell you, I can't hear or see a certain running back's name without breaking out into hysterical laughter now. Good gosh...Does that make me the "Miss South Carolina" of sports now?
After that part of the interview, we spoke about my previous relationship with a man, my divorce, my current life & a few other crazy topics. Robin was very kind to say that I looked sweet but suggested I was "hell on wheels", which was pretty funny. Howard asked me to take my top off, but being self conscious about my body I declined, though I did twirl around to give everyone a rear view a few times. Another thing I didn't take Howard up on was a ride on the infamous Sybian, but I have to admit that I've been wondering about it ever since! Darn! It was a whirlwind interview and unfortunately, it was over before I knew it! I had a lot of fun and got a big kick out of chatting with the people I used to listen to on the radio on my way to school every morning! After we said our goodbyes I went into the green room to freak out about everything - I guess that's when the reality of it all hit me. Medicated Pete was the guest on after me & I agreed to come back on-air to help him learn how to talk to a girl. Pete seemed inexperienced when it came to talking to women & was a little nervous, but he was also genuine & sweet, which are hard qualities to find in a man these days! BEST OF LUCK PETE!
The taping for Howard TV On Demand was even more fun because I was a little less nervous & I was surrounded by a fun, easy-going crew! We got through the super sexy - and sometimes silly - segments pretty quickly and had a blast doing it :)
All in all it was a FANTASTIC experience and one that I'm truly grateful for. The only thing I would change about it would be the lack of photo opportunities: I never got a photo with Howard Stern himself! (HEY HOWARD, ARE YOU LISTENING?)
Thanks for reading my blog, you guys! I love interacting with fans of the show so please look me up on Facebook or my website RebySky.com
I look forward to seeing you all on Howard TV On Demand! Until then, remember to live and love with POSITIVITY! XOXO, Reby Sky
